Series of Two-Day Trainings «Grantwriting for Colleges and Vocational Education Institutions»

A series of two-day trainings «Grantwriting for Colleges and Vocational Education Institutions» was held at Dnipro University of Technology. On 10-11 July and 17-18 July 2024, educators from all over the Dnipro region gathered at the Center for Professional Development, Mentoring and Tutoring to improve their grantwriting skills under the guidance of experts from the Center for International Cooperation.

Mykola Kravchenko, Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Higher and Professional Education, Head of the Department of Science and Higher Education, Anton Demura, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science of Dnipropetrovsk State Regional Administration, Oleksandr Aziukovskyi, Rector of Dnipro University of Technology, Artem Pavlichenko, First Vice-Rector, and Mykola Trehub, Vice-Rector for Perspective Development, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech and wishes for productive work.

Lesia Doroshenko, International Projects Manager, Kseniia Tiukhmenova, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, and Kateryna Priazhnikova, Deputy Director, Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator of Dnipro University of Technology shared their knowledge and practical experience, taking into account the individual needs of educators: 

• told in detail about the features and benefits of participating in projects, grants and international mobility; 

• explained the algorithm for applying for funding, using the budget and preparing supporting documentation; 

• presented opportunities for colleges and vocational education institutions within the Erasmus+ programme; 

• analysed the structure of the application template.

   

In total, representatives from 25 institutions joined the training, who, in particular, had the opportunity to apply the gained knowledge in practice: they identified goals and projects according to the specific needs of educational institutions, discussed strategic plans for submissions, and developed draft ideas while working in groups. 

At the end of the training, the participants received their certificates.

The event was organised by Dnipro University of Technology in cooperation with the Department of Education and Science of Dnipropetrovsk State Regional Administration. 

We believe that the obtained knowledge and skills will become a powerful tool for integrating vocational education into the international academic community, improving the image of Ukrainian education and ensuring the European future of Ukraine.
